• The internees shall not consider his/her offer of internship as an offer of appointment to any regular/contract position. • The internees are bound to work on the project’s site/location or as required by the authority. • The internees shall work as per their assigned ToRs. • An internee hired in a project shall in no case be transferable to any other project. • The applicant is required to produce upon arrival, verified testimonials from the concerned regulatory bodies (i.e. Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education, Board of Technical Education, HEC/PEC/PMDC, etc.) • The candidates shall, prior to their internship, be bound to submit an affidavit to the effect on judicial stamp paper that they will abide by the laid down code of conduct in this policy. • At the end of his/her internship period, the candidate is required to submit a report based on his/her experiences/lessons learned/suggestions/proposals for improvement in the system.

Pakhtunkhwa Energy Development Organization (PEDO) is carrying out a major public sector development portfolio in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The Organization intends to engage qualified young professionals in the development process to enhance their capacity, skills, and experience in the development field. The said activity is intended to make the educated youth of KP province a part of the development process and to prepare them for their professional career. Towards this end, young professionals with 16 years of education, graduate professionals in the engineering field (Civil, Electrical, Electronics & Mechanical/Mechatronics), Diploma holders, Technologists, graduates in the field of Social Sciences (Economics, Sociology, Social Work), Geology, Computer Sciences having KP domicile are intended to be engaged in PEDO’s various directorates/wings and its field formations. a): Females are strongly encouraged to apply and have reserved slots. b): The slots will be filled on a first come first serve basis. c): PEDO reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of slots or to cancel the advertisement without showing any reason. d): The candidate for an internship in Engineering slots shall also apply on the Internship Portal of Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) i.e. https://ojt.pec.org.pk/ e): Engineers who graduated during 2018 and afterward are eligible for registration on PEC Portal but there are no such restrictions for registration with PEDO through KPK Internship Portal f): Candidates will be selected for a period of 6 months, extendable to another six months subject to satisfactory performance. g): An amount of stipend of Rs. 30,000/- per month (20,000 by PEC and 10,000 by PEDO) shall be paid to those internees who are meeting internship criteria of both PEC & PEDO while Rs. 25,000/- per month shall be paid to internees who are meeting internship criteria of PEDO only. h): Those Candidates who meet only PEC criteria shall be paid Rs.20,000/- per month for a period of 6 months only subject to PEC Approval.
