The internees will be responsible for conducting the designed research trials and also carry out laboratory activities. The internees will also collect field samples and analyze laboratory data and compile report writing. They will also assist the SROs/ROs as per the assigned duties/tasks. The required skills for the selection of internees will be M.Sc (Hons) or B.Sc (Hons) in Agriculture from HEC recognized university. However, preference will be given to the candidates having specialization in soil science and agriculture chemistry. The internees will be hired and shall be bound to the Govt. approved policy notified vide No.SO(E)P&D/3-4/PIP/2018. Candidates, domiciled in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, qualifying the above criteria can apply. Station of duty will be Directorate of Soil and Plant Nutrition, ARI, Tarnab, Peshawar.

The project titled "Surveillance on Pesticide and Fertilizer Adulteration in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa" is an ADP approved scheme of Agriculture Livestock and Cooperative Department (research wing) for the year 2020-2023. Five numbers of internees were recruited for the year 2021-2022 as per the approved PC-1, their tenure will be completed on April 30th 2022. Out of these internees one internee being "Hafize Quran" will be given extension for the coming year as per the provision in the notified internship policy and four (4) fresh internees will be hired for the period from 1st May 2022 to 30th April 2023. The internees recruited shall be bound to the government approved policy notified vide number SO(E)P&D/3-4/PIP/2018.
